On the way to Paris – and beyond #COP21

The energy transition is real. For 25 years now, Energy Cities has been witnessing local authorities from all over Europe - and the world - daring to create their own energy future.

They are empowering their local stakeholders, reasonably and efficiently using their territories’ resources, rethinking financing solutions, inventing new suitable governance models, and using urban planning as a tool towards a sustainable, low-carbon future.

Those cities and regions are an inexhaustible source of inspiration that should feed the much-awaited international negotiations of the Climate Change Conference (COP21) to be held in Paris in December.

Energy Cities’ Proposals now available in Chinese !

In the framework of the China-Europa Forum and thanks to the Charles Léopold Mayer Foundation for the Progress of Humankind, Energy Cities’ 30 proposals for the energy transition of cities and towns are now available in Chinese.

The China-Europa Forum is an independent initiative launched in 2005 by the Charles Léopold Mayer Foundation. "It invites the stakeholders of both societies to think about their common future : the future of every society, the future of the relations between them and, more broadly, the future of a deeply interconnected world in which China and Europe will have to assume their responsibilities as major global players."
