In 2012, Energy Cities initiated a process aimed at making and debating proposals for accelerating the energy transition of European cities and towns. These proposals are based on innovative approaches, new ideas and groundbreaking practices. They provide practical answers and link today’s action to the long-term vision of a low energy city with a high quality of life for all.

The China-Europa Forum is an independent initiative launched in 2005 by the Charles Léopold Mayer Foundation. "It invites the stakeholders of both societies to think about their common future : the future of every society, the future of the relations between them and, more broadly, the future of a deeply interconnected world in which China and Europe will have to assume their responsibilities as major global players."
