Knowing that, French players from the renewable energy sector -including ALE 08 (Ardennes local energy agency), a member of Energy Cities – created the “Energie partagée – Shared Energy” association in June 2010.
This association advocates for reducing energy consumption, developing a production exclusively based on renewable energies and giving local authorities an active role in energy supply and management.
To achieve its objectives, the association has an EPI– a shared energy investment – the first financing tool for citizens willing to invest in renewable energy production and energy efficiency.
