Energie-Cités would like to highlight a number of reports which have been recently published concerning transport, energy and planning issues in urban areas:

• Report No 10/2006 of the European Environment Agency on urban sprawl “Urban sprawl in Europe – The ignored challenge” (see also Press release)

• Report No 01/2007 of the European Environment Agency on transport and the environment “Transport and Environment: on the way to a new common transport policy” (see also Press release)

AND

• Reports from Friends of the Earth on (1) transport and the Structural Funds – “EU funds for public and environment-friendly transport” and (2) energy and the Structural Funds – “Channelling EU funds into efficient and renewable energy”, with the contribution of Energie-Cités.
