This 2010 – 2011 academic year, the local Display campaign was expanded to 18 schools. Using the 2009 reference year, both energy consumption analysis and environmental performance were evaluated. OEINERGE performed nine informative briefings for teachers and 19 awareness campaigns targeted at students.
This initiative had the participation of approximately 14 teachers and about 480 students. The "Display Energy Label" for each school was printed on a 140cm x 105cm roll-up and placed at the entrance of the building.
The school building with the best energy and environmental performance had a symbolic ceremony to unveil the "Display Energy Label" on 17 June, and Escola Secundária Professor José Augusto Lucas (Linda-a-Velha) was honoured with a visit from the President of the OEINERGE Board.
