New consultation on Energy Efficiency Action Plan

The EU Commission’s DG TREN is working on a new Energy Efficiency Action Plan which should be ready in a first draft by September. Currently a public consultation is launched. The deadline for submission is the 3rd August.

We encourage all Energie-Cités members to reply individually to the proposed Action Plan which will update the previous plan adopted in 2006. The more of you participate in the internet consultation, the louder the voice of European local authorities will become.

In parallel, Energie-Cités will prepare a collective political opinion paper on the issue.
