Milton Keynes: District heating in social housing

In Milton Keynes, the United Sustainable Energy Agency is looking at the feasibility of installing district heating infrastructure to existing social housing estates.

Does anyone within the Energie-Cités network have experience of retrofitting district heating systems within existing housing developments? Who can give advice on
- how the technical challenges of the ground works and the work inside the dwellings were met and
- what arrangements were set up for the billing of the energy.
