Local Government Climate Change Leadership Summit, 2-4 of June 2009

Local governments from around the world will meet in Copenhagen for the Local Government Climate Change Leadership Summit on 2nd-4th June 2009. Energie-Cités will participate and contribute to putting a local fingerprint on the post Kyoto 2012 agreement - the COP15 - also taking place in Copenhagen.

The Local Government Climate Change Leadership Summit offers local governments from around the world a chance to present their best practice experiences on climate and energy to an international audience of policy makers and other stakeholders.

The Summit is an essential milestone in the common Local Government Climate Change Roadmap. Energie Cités together with other European and international associations and local and regional authority networks is fully involved in the roadmap process leading from Bali via Poznan to Copenhagen.
