The Essonne County finances different actions of its Climate Plan thanks to a European grant from the Life + Programme.
In this framework a seminar called “Sub-national governments in Europe : Key-actors against climate change” is organised in Brussels on Monday 28th February 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
The ambition of the CLIMATE Project is to show how a community, big as a french county, can be a driving force for its territory in reducing significantly the gas emissions.
The objective is to stimulate a 25% reduction by 2020 ( based on the 2006 results).
