Great Britain : a citizen initiative against climate change

by Claire Iochum on 5 November 2009 / 314 visites

10:10 is an ambitious project to unite every sector (firms - schools -associations- hospitals...) of British society behind one simple idea: that by working together we can achieve a 10% cut in the UK’s carbon emissions in 2010.

In fact we need to act quickly. Politicians alone are powerless to deal with climate change; so it’s time for citizens to step in and to be involved in this enormous debate. Each person must take part in the 10:10 project, starting to be aware and making things change in their football clubs, their galleries or their universities as a first step towards a zero-carbon society.
Project`s moto: Working together we can make a meaningful difference, so let’s get started.
