French and German citizens on a “TANDEM” to a study tour in Lille!

By Bénédicte Weber on 6 June 2019

Since 2014, the TANDEM project team has been supporting French and German local governments who are willing to work hand in hand to make the energy transition go faster.

TANDEM is today organising, in cooperation with the Franco-German energy platform, a study tour in the region of the French city Lille around the energy renovation of buildings. The visits will take place on 25 and 26 June.

This tour will be an occasion for French and German participants to find out more about the first renovation project that was carried out based on the Energiesprong method in France. Energiesprong is an approach born in the Netherlands where it’s been implemented since 2012 already. The specifications are very demanding: use of prefabricated items to make the works go fast, a zero-energy use long-term guarantee, project is financed through energy savings expected over 30 years, and a dwelling that matches residents’ expectations.

Further site visits are on the agenda of the study tour, as well as a discussion with Vice-President of Lille Métropole Christiane Bouchart and member of the city council Stéphane Baly. Full programme is available on the TANDEM website.

Register by 7 June!

To learn more about Energiesprong, you may (re)watch the TANDEM webinar called ‘Energiesprong: massification et industrialisation de la rénovation énergétique’, with Estelle Derosne (Energiesprong France) and Julius Pahl (Energiesprong Germany) by following this link.
