Final countdown to the Annual Rendezvous

Final preparations are in hand for the upcoming Annual Rendezvous of Energie-Cités and Climate Alliance. On 22nd-24th April 2009 more than 400 city representatives will be united under the theme of “3x20” – Play the Game”.
The event focuses on the EU climate and energy objectives and the means available to local authorities to achieve them, including the Covenant of Mayors initiative.
Jeremy Rifkin (Foundation of Economic Trends), Stina Soewarta (European Commission) and Patrick Lambert (EACI) are amongst the high-level speakers. Participants can exchange ideas during 30 forums and be inspired by unconventional debates with political leaders, company directors and NGOs!
