European Mobility Week Award 2010 : members of Energy Cities selected!

On 18 January, the European Mobility Week Award Jury met in Brussels to decide on the 10 best applications for the European Mobility Week 2010 Award, including three finalists. The winning city will be announced at an official ceremony in the Brussels Atomium on 14 March 2011.

The European Mobility Week Award was designed to reward activities carried out by local authorities in the framework of the European Mobility Week. It is awarded to cities that proved to be fruntrunners in terms of sustainable transport and managed to communicate the campaign’s message to citizens.

Energy Cities is involved in the campaign since 2002 and Energy Cities members are well represented among the 10 best applications for the European Mobility Week 2010 Award : the applications of Budapest and Zagreb have been selected. The City of Almada is among the finalists.
