European Mobility Week 2011 : ready, steady… go !

‘Alternative Mobility’. This is the 2011 theme of the European Mobility Week, which takes place every year from September 16th to 22nd.

The Mobility Week starts today and it is already a success. Indeed 1990 cities are registered to this big european initiative that has even spread overseas : now Brazil, Colombia, Japan, Canada, Equator and Taiwan also organise the Mobility Week !

Participating in this event is a great opportunity to initiate a large range of activities and give local authorities and other organisations the chance to promote their actions in favour of sustainable mobility, to raise citizen’s awareness and to launch relevant partnerships.

So... ready, steady...go !
