The European Mobility Week 2011
‘Alternative Mobility’. This is the 2011 theme of the European Mobility Week, which takes place every year from September 16th to 22nd.
Although the Mobility Week has not been launched yet, it is expected to be very successful. To date, 1,360 cities have already registered to participate in this European event that has even spread overseas: now Brazil, Colombia, Japan, Canada, Equator and Taiwan also organise the Mobility Week!
Participating in this event is a great opportunity to initiate a large range of activities and give local authorities and other organisations the chance to promote their actions in favour of sustainable mobility, to raise citizen’s awareness and to launch relevant partnerships.
So... ready, steady!...
For any further information and registration details, please go to the EMW official website: www.mobilityweek.eu
