On the occasion of its 25th Anniversary, Energy Cities launched a Photo Contest that was open to all members of the network.

From 15 January to 31 March 2015, all local authorities part of Energy Cities could send a picture of their energy & climate team along with a motto, somehow linked to sustainable energy.

The pictures were evaluated by a jury composed of Claire Roumet (Energy Cities’ Executive Director), Evelyne Huytebroeck (Brussels Regional Parliament), Bo Frank (Mayor of Växjö), Jan Geiss (EUFORES) and Adrian Joyce (Renovate Europe Campaign). The jury selected the 1st and 2nd Prizes. A public vote was organised to attribute the Public Prize.

The Award Ceremony took place during Energy Cities’ Conference in Aberdeen, on 23 April. And the winners are…
