Copenhagen Climate Conference – CoR Special Event

The Special Event organised by the Committee of the Regions will bring together decision makers and opinion formers from EU institutions and from European and US local authorities to demonstrate:

- the commitment of regions and cities to achieve sustainable energy targets and adaptation to the effects of climate change;
- how local authorities can mobilise citizens to adopt a ’green’ lifestyle and to contribute to climate protection at individual level;
- how EU and US towns and cities can work together to share best practice in the fight against climate change.
