UITP Youth Project FLASH MOB performance
Y4PT (Youth for Public Transport) is a youth network that shares knowledge and experiences of the promotion of sustainable urban mobility. The Youth Project works to encourage public transport organisations to recognise that young people are essential for public transport (PT), and to prepare young people to think of PT as a critical component of their lives.
On the 19th of September, during the European Mobility Week, a collective action will take place in 12 worldwide cities, among them Brussels, with the name “PT Make Us Feel Like Home” and aims to raise people’s awareness on public transport. Wearing a white bathrobe or pyjamas, participants will position themselves at bus stops of the square and preview a distribution of metro magazine, or other similar free PT dedicated newspaper.
