Agreement on recasted EPBD : DISPLAY position reflected

On Tuesday 17 November 2009 the European Parliament and the Council have agreed on the recasted Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. The directive allows for a high level of technical ambition and targets. The result reflects in large parts the position of the Display participants and Energie-Cités. One central point proposed by the European Parliament and strongly supported by us is that as from 2011 a voluntary EU certification scheme shall be introduced for non-residential buildings.
