20 years Energy Cities - special publication

"City life in transition" is at the heart of the special 20th Anniversary edition of our network magazine “Energy Cities INFO”.

The various articles on the achievements, ambitions and actions of our members within the network as well as analyses of the ongoing transition in local and European energy policies reflect the unique status that Energy Cities has achieved since its creation in 1990.

But at twenty, we are mainly looking to the future. As the timeline at the bottom of each magazine page shows, we foresee deep changes over the next twenty years. We know that cities have to prepare for their necessary energy transition and that it is the mission of a network like Energy Cities to help them through this; by keeping innovating, again and again, with the maturity of adulthood and the enthusiasm of youth!

This publication is also an opportunity to discover Energy Cities’ new name and logo which underline the European dimension of the network.
