Cities of tomorrow - Low energy cities with a high quality of life for all Cities of tomorrow - Low energy cities with a high quality of life for all

What could be the ideal sustainable, liveable, harmonious and desirable city of tomorrow in Europe?

Energy Cities is active at both local and European levels, therefore we will only address the European-type cities in our reflection. Central to the vision of Energy Cities is of course the (sustainable and liveable) energy issue.
Therefore, our starting point is the consideration of energy issue as an essential component of urban and regional development (there is no life without energy) as well as an excellent scanner of how the city and its periphery/region are organised (the more we consume energy in a city, the worse this city is usually designed and organised).
