Jeremy Rifkin & Sunita Narain at the Energie-Cités' Annual Rendezvous!

“3x20” – Play The Game” is the theme of Energie-Cités’ 14th Annual Rendezvous, which this year is organised jointly with Climate Alliance and the Region of Brussels Capital on 22-24 April 2009, in Brussels.

The event focuses on the EU climate and energy objectives and the means available to local authorities to achieve them, including the Covenant of Mayors initiative.

We are pleased to announce that the 2 day Rendezvous has, amongst many others, the following confirmed speakers:

Jeremy Rifkin, the American economist, writer, and an engrossing speaker who advocates a “third industrial revolution” in energy use

Sunita Narain, the Indian environmentalist and political activist who is a major proponent of the Green concept of sustainable development.
