European New Towns Platform - ENTP - 17 July 2009
The ENTP (European New Towns Platform) is the organization representing New Towns and fast growing suburban centres in Europe. The seat of the organization is in Brussels Created in 1999, ENTP has become in few years a solid network composed of 32 cities and 11 Research institutes from 12 countries. The main objectives of the organisation are to work as a Platform for the exchange information, to share good practices and to implement common projects; as well as to represent the New Towns, promote them and strengthen their role on a regional and trans-national level. The priorities of the ENTP are urban development, governance, social cohesion and sustainable development. ENTP activities include the promotion of exchange of information and experiences through panels of experts, networks of urban planners and architects, sociologists and environmentalists, conferences and workshops, and the coordination of European projects. ENTP has been participating in several European projects financed by programmes of the European Commission like Interreg III B NEW, Interreg III C, Europaid etc. It will co-organize a Seminar in Shanghai in November 2009 about Eco Districts.

Build up - Energy solutions for better buildings - 17 June 2009
"The BUILD UP initiative was established by the European Commission in 2009 to support EU Member States in implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). The BUILD UP web portal is intended to reap the benefits of Europe's collective intelligence on energy reduction in buildings for all relevant audiences. It will bring together new practitioners and professional associations while motivating them to exchange best working practices and knowledge and to transfer tools and resources."

Intelligent Energy eLibrary - 15 June 2009
The new Intelligent Energy e-library's searchable web catalogue gives you access to a large variety of manuals, tools and guidebooks for intelligent energy developed with the support of IEE and other programmes. It covers the following themes: energy efficiency in industry, local and regional energy management, renewable energy, and transport.

Solpool - 6 May 2009
Le projet européen « SOLPOOL » est destiné à promouvoir la valorisation de l’énergie solaire pour le chauffage de l’eau des piscines publiques. Dans ce cadre, des outils de promotion des capteurs solaires thermiques ont été développés, notamment par l'ALE de l'agglomération lyonnaise et ses partenaires. Le site SOLPOOL propose, outre une brochure technique, un tableur de pré-dimensionnement d'une installation solaire "IMPACT ADVISOR", des fiches de sites, ainsi qu'une base de contacts.
